Semi tubular and bifurcated rivet are produced by wire cold forming using wire with diameter from mm 2 to mm 14, in iron raw or zinc plated, brass, copper, inox and aluminium. Mostly produced on demand with a sample or technical drawing. These rivets are very solid and used for industrial technical items where a strong closure is required. Turning rivet are made by a turning machining process , that is the brass bar is rotated while a single point cutting tool is moved parallel to the axis of rotation.
